In 2007, Margo and Matt Neely established Neely Air, a boutique new media/film production and design studio specializing in the creation of original multi-platform digital content for streaming on-demand viewing. Neely Air conceives and produces cutting edge content that takes the audience beyond the traditional entertainment experience, supplementing broadcast quality media with creative, interactive online materials that enhance the “world” of the project or brand. We have worked with brands large and small on campaigns for print, web, and broadcast. To see more of our work, visit the official online home of Neely Air.
Axis Company was formed with a mission to present aggressive surrealism, classic vaudeville turns and vanguard adaptation. Through the careful utilization of various media, Axis has produced an eclectic series of original and published plays with highly advanced, state of the art technological components that enhance the internal meaning of the material. Past productions include Büchner’s “Woyzeck”, Beckett’s “Play”, Benjamin Baker’s 1848 vaudeville “A Glance at New York” (Edinburgh Fringe & NYC), “Julius Caesar”, “USS Frankenstein”, “Down There” and the U.S. premiere of Sarah Kane’s “Crave”, starring Deborah Harry. Axis has also produced the premiere of Marc Palmieri’s “Levittown” (directed by George Demas) and Edgar Oliver’s “East 10th Street” (Fringe First Award, Edinburgh Fringe; Spoleto Festival USA 2011). Since 2002 they have performed an original children’s play, “Seven in One Blow” every December (published by DPS and performed around the country). Their episodic play “Hospital”, about the interior life of a man in a coma, is a West Village phenomenon every summer. In 2006 Axis Company independently produced their first feature film, “Henry May Long”, winning 13 film festival awards in the US and Canada.
